Skeleton
Reanimated warrior summoned by Necromancer from corpses. Basic physical attacker with decent armor. Inherits 50% of original corpse's max HP.
Unit Stats
Abilities
Deals 1 + STR physical damage. Simple melee attack. With base 2 STR, deals 3 damage per hit.
Gains +1 Armor for 2 turns. Increases survivability. Stacks with base Armor for 2 total while active.
Skeleton is an invocation: doesn't leave a corpse when killed, takes +2 damage from Smite, and benefits from Portal Boost.
While this Skeleton exists, the Necromancer who summoned it gains +1 Will. Multiple Skeletons stack this bonus.
Tactical Tips
Free Units
Skeletons cost 0 energy—they're raised from corpses. Each Skeleton is a free body on the board. Quantity over quality is the strategy.
HP Inheritance
Skeletons inherit 50% of the corpse's max HP. Raising from a Trent corpse (7 HP) gives a 3-4 HP Skeleton. Target high-HP corpses.
Necromancer Synergy
Each Skeleton grants +1 Will to its Necromancer. Three Skeletons = +3 Will. Keep Skeletons alive to make Necromancer nearly immune to PSI.
Bone Shield Timing
Use Bone Shield before engaging or when expecting damage. +1 Armor for 2 turns reduces incoming physical damage. Effective against other physical units.
Counters & Matchups
Strong Against
- Spread damage: Multiple Skeletons force enemies to split attacks
- Physical units: Armor reduces damage from STR-based attacks
- Attrition: Free units with decent stats grind value over time
Weak Against
- Paladin: Smite deals +2 bonus damage to invocations
- Psionic damage: 0 Will means full PSI damage taken
- AOE: Grouped Skeletons vulnerable to area attacks
