Aura of Faith
Passive

Allies within 2 tiles gain +1 Will while Paladin lives. Stacks with other Auras of Faith from multiple Paladins.

Tactical Tips

Anti-Invocation Specialist

Smite deals bonus PSI damage to invocations and units with PSI > 0, plus grants +1 global energy when destroying invocations. Prioritize Elementals, Skeletons, and Wisps.

Bastion of Faith Synergy

Cast on allies facing psionic threats. The +1 Will reduces PSI damage, and the PSI reflection punishes enemy casters. Best used on frontline tanks.

Purifying Light Value

Save for debuffed allies to maximize value—removing a debuff heals +1 HP AND grants +1 global energy. Great against Necromancer's Weaken or Bard's Dream Song.

Aura of Faith Positioning

Position Paladin centrally to maximize the 2-tile Will aura. Stacks with multiple Paladins for powerful psionic defense. Essential against Pyromancer and Mentalist.

Counters & Matchups

Strong Against

  • Summoners: Smite destroys Elementals and Skeletons with bonus damage + energy refund
  • Psionic DPS: Aura of Faith reduces PSI damage for all nearby allies
  • Debuff comps: Purifying Light cleanses and heals simultaneously

Weak Against

  • Physical DPS: Only 1 Armor makes Paladin vulnerable to STR damage
  • High STR units: Berserker, Warlord can burst through defenses
  • Non-summon comps: Smite bonus is wasted without invocations to kill
