Fire Elemental is an invocation: doesn't leave a corpse, takes +2 damage from Smite, gains Portal Boost from portals (+1 STR +1 PSI).
Enemies that end their turn adjacent to Fire Elemental take 1 True Damage. Passive area denial that punishes close proximity.
Tactical Tips
Burn Pressure
Flame Touch applies Burn for PSI/2 True Damage per turn. With PSI 2, that's 1 True Damage. With Portal Boost (PSI 3), it's 1-2. Burn ignores Armor/Will.
Immolate Risk/Reward
Immolate hits all adjacent enemies but costs 1 HP. With only 2 HP, use sparingly. Best when surrounded by 2+ enemies for value trades.
Portal Boost Priority
Send Fire Elemental through Conjurer portals for +1 PSI. Increases Flame Touch damage from 2 to 3 and Burn damage. Significant power spike.
Burning Aura Zone
Enemies take 1 True Damage if they end turn adjacent. Position to threaten zones enemies want to occupy. Forces suboptimal positioning.

Strong Against
- High Armor units: Burn deals True Damage, ignoring physical defense
- Melee units: Burning Aura punishes close-range engagement
- Slow units: High Speed (5) allows hit-and-run tactics
Weak Against
- Paladin: Smite +2 bonus damage destroys Fire Elementals
- Ranged attacks: 2 HP means 1-2 hits from Archer kills it
- Trent: Forest Echo reflects ranged PSI attacks
