Sleep

Debuff 1-2 Turns

Psionic crowd control that renders units unconscious. Affected units cannot act but wake immediately upon taking any damage.

Mechanics

How It Works

  • Target skips their turn completely
  • Cannot move, attack, or use abilities
  • Wakes up immediately if damaged
  • Duration reduced at end of target's turn

Duration & Stacking

  • Lasts 1-2 turns depending on ability
  • Does not stack - reapplication refreshes duration
  • Any damage source breaks Sleep early

Tactical Considerations

  • Focus fire: Sleep then burst down before wake
  • Isolation: Sleep frontline, attack backline
  • DOT warning: Burn ticks will wake target

Interactions

Strong Against

  • High-priority threats: Disable key enemies temporarily
  • Low Will units: Berserker (0 Will) easily slept
  • Isolated units: No allies to wake them

Counters

  • AOE damage: Accidentally wakes slept targets
  • Burn/DOT: Damage over time immediately wakes
  • High Will: Paladin, Mentalist resist better
