Mechanics
How It Works
- Reduces target's Will by -1
- Lower Will = more PSI damage taken
- Sets up devastating psionic follow-ups
- Can reduce Will to 0 on low-Will targets
Duration & Stacking
- Lasts 2 turns from application
- Does not stack - reapplication refreshes duration
- Duration reduces at end of affected unit's turn
Combo Potential
- Apply Mind Break, then unleash PSI damage
- Pyromancer follow-up deals bonus damage
- Multiple casters can burst down broken target
Interactions
Strong Against
- Low Will units: Berserker (0 Will) becomes helpless
- Tanks: Guardian has only 1 Will base
- High HP targets: Enables PSI burst to kill
Counters
- Valor Chant: +1 Will offsets Mind Break's -1
- High Will units: Paladin, Mentalist resist better
- Physical damage: Will doesn't affect STR attacks
